Got into an accident at Coldplay Manila concert

in , by Rejoyce Canaynay, April 06, 2017

It was A Sky Full Of Star with such a heavenly view as I was able to see and hear Coldplay perform live here in Manila. It was definitely surreal! The performance surely did not disappoint. It was a blast from the start until the very end. Listening to people sing along in every song and lyrics of the band plus all the rainbow fireworks, confetti (even if it didn't reach us), big balloons and even our safety in the concert, it was definitely worth every penny.

Though from our ticket price, it might be a little disappointed as we weren't able to see them clearly, the only way I could get a glimpse was by taking photos/videos, tiptoeing, stretching my neck with jumping on the side. Hahaha! Despite all this, I'm just gonna be grateful that we are able to hear them live because some people would really wish they were there to listen to their favourite band. And thinking about the people at the end of the ground and still manage to enjoy the concert, I should really appreciate my ticket more. Besides, it's the music we came for, right?! But really, the venue and the stage could have been better!

And because I really want to see them even from afar, even if they look as tiny as a staple wire I got myself into an accident and injured my left knee. I'm not really sure how it happened, I just suddenly fell on my butt and felt pain in my left leg. I got very dizzy, felt a vibrating sound in my ear and wanted to throw up after that hit in my knee. Glad I was already sitting on the ground or I might have suddenly collapsed. Thankfully, it is not something very serious, I just took some rest and felt better after but from then on I can't really walk my left leg properly, until now actually.

By the way, they said they're gonna come back, so I guess I'll see them again soon?! And I just wanna share that I was totally amaze with the drummer when they played Viva La Vida, go check some videos on YouTube to find out why and also do check my Instagram if you wanna listen to some songs I got to video. :) Putting Coldplay's hashtag just because I still can't get over the fact that I was really there and I got to listen to them live.

  1. I agree! The venue could've been better sana. I wanted to see Coldplay too. But upon seeing the ticket prices and the location, nagdalawang-isip ako since I'm saving up for a possible Ed Sheeran concert (which could also be pricey). Haha! I have friends who traveled to SG and Thailand para dun manuod ng concert ng Coldplay. But nonetheless, I love their music too. And I hope I can get to watch them play live someday. ❤️💛💚💙💜 Good thing your injury wasn't something major. Keep safe!

    1. Idk why hindi kami nadala sa pwesto namin sa 1D concert before, it's almost the same. Hahaha! But it sure worth-it to hear them sing live tho, pero venue talaga e. Dun ka madidisapoint. Yea, better pa nga ata manuod sa ibang bansa. Oh, diba his having a concert here very soon?! Then I guess, I'll see you then? Charot!

  2. I'm elated you enjoyed the concert, ate Rejoyce! It was a night to remember as they say ♥ I wanted to attend the concert too but I have experience with MOA grounds and I hesitated. In the end, I didn't attend :( Maybe it was fate's calling cause a few days before the CP concert Britney Spears announced here concert here!! YAAAAS ♥

Awwww, maybe you experience fatigue during the concert? Take care, ate. I'm glad you're already feeling well ♥♥

    1. Actually, di ko rin sure why hindi kami nadala sa experience namin sa MOA grounds nung 1D concert. Hahaha! I guess because it's Coldplay, we just have to watch it even it means a crap venue. Hahaha! Anyway, how's the concert?

Not really sure but I believe na nadali yung tuhod ko nung guy infront of me. Thank you Abby!

  3. I'm one of those people who used to get disappointed with concert venues like this, but Gerald said that "festivals", "concerts" are really like that, so he never thought of bringing me to a concert because he know my struggles since I'm short. Hahaha Di ko rin makikita yung artists at baka madaganan lang ako or whatever. Good thing yours isn't a serious injury! Baka natulak ka or what tapos sa sobrang bilis ng pangyayari di mo na napansin.

Besides, I am also not into concerts, actually not fan of anything haha kaya hindi rin big deal sakin yung concerts. Pero I admire those na talagang nag-eeffort to see their favorites!

  4. I'm still irked at the venue choice, but at least, we got the fireworks! I would have watched it if it's in MOA. I'm too short to even see them if the venue is the concert grounds hehehe. Glad you guys had a blast!!
