The Jelly Flower Lipstick

May 09, 2017

Lets us all appreciate this prettiest and one of the most unique lipsticks ever made! Now I know why it went viral few months ago. This jelly flower lipstick is a beauty brand called Kailijumei. According to my research, it is from a Chinese beauty manufacturer and soon expanded their brand in the US. Anyway aside from its unique appearance, this clear colored lipstick also changes color when you apply it on your lips depending on your body temperature. So cool right?!

This is what the packaging looks like. It is in a blue box with the product brand written in front of it and you can see the lipstick name and the color on the top lid of the box. The inside of the box you'll see this sleek red lipstick tube and it comes with a little mirror at the back. To open it, you just need to press the top and the lipstick will just pop out on the other end.

Once the lipstick pops out from the red tube, you'll see this gold tube where the lipstick name is written at the bottom. The Kailijumei lipsticks come with 4 shades but I only got the Barbie Doll Powder and Flame Red.

(Left: Barbie Doll Powder; Right: Flame Red) As for the color of the lipstick, the name is just a name. Don't expect it to have colors like bold red for the Flame Red or super pink tone for Barbie Doll Powder as they are just both in the same pinkish shade and the flower is the only thing that differentiates the one from the other.

The lipstick is really smooth and it smells sweet like a candy that you just want to eat it. It is also very moisturizing which is good for people with dry lips just like me. I'm not really sure how it changes color from a clear colored lipstick to turning pinkish when you apply it on the lips. They say it's like a mood color ring that changes color depending on your body temperature. Though don't expect too much on the pigmentation as it is very very light on the lips.

And just what I said, it is very moisturizing that the formula of this product really suit you if you have dry lips. I highly recommend it if you want gloss in your lips and for daily use. And for the price of 600.00 pesos, you decide. But nevertheless, this gorgeous lipstick surely fit perfectly in my lipstick collection.

I do know now why the internet went crazy over this "Beauty And the Beast" look-a-like kind of lipstick. It is just so pretty and smells good. I describe this lipstick as a beautiful and magical chopstick in a form of lipstick in a pretty packaging. As it is very hydrating and moisturized with a touch of a little color on the lips.

I got mine from KailijumeiPh page on Facebook. Go check it out if you want to get your hands on this beautiful flower jelly and try it for yourself.

  1. I wanna see how it looks when applied! And also curious kapag umabot ka na sa part na may flower. Haha. I think may local brand na rin na magrerelease ng ganito. (insatgram.com/hellogorgeousmnlph) Agree, super cute niya lang tingnan, but I still prefer pigmented lippies.

  2. Hi rej! Sobrang cute ng lippies na to. Although, hindi siya masyado pigmented no? Parang more of tinted lip balm yung payoff niya?

    1. Yup! It's not that pigmented. More like a tinted lipbalm?! tho, after applying it, I askmy brother kung visible siya, meron naman daw. Hahaha!

  3. This looks very interesting! I don't like super pigmented lipsticks, yung tipong masho-shock yung tao pag makita yung kulay ng lips mo haha. I'm all in for lipsticks like this na parang natural lang <3

  4. Wow, beauty products sure are stepping up to a whole new level. That's a pretty cute lippie. I love how transparent it looks and yet it's still colorful when you swiped it on your arm.
