Tmark Grand Hotel Myeongdong - GuestRoom Tour

in , , by Rejoyce Canaynay, June 15, 2017

And just like that, months have passed since my South Korea trip with my siblings. I'm not really sure how will I start my trip since I'm lacking the motivation to think of something to write, share and even edit my photos.

Anyway, this trip has a lot of first for all of us since this is all our first time in the country, my two little siblings first abroad trip and the first trip for us without our parents. We were supposed to visit the country as a family but my parents decided to cancel their tickets so we left for Korea on our own.

We stayed in Tmark Grand Hotel / Myeongdong located in the heart of Seoul. This hotel is very convenient as it has easy access to Myeongdong, Namdaemun Market, and Seoul Station. The underground transit is just right beside the hotel - Hoeheyon Subway Station (Line4) and is 10 to 15 minutes walk from the popular Myeongdong shopping area.

And as usual, I wasn't able to see and explore the hotel because just like my other trips we are usually out early in the morning and be back late at night. But nevertheless, I was really satisfied with our guestroom.

I'm not really sure about the rate of our room because just like our last trip it was my brother who booked and arranged everything. He said that he got a good price for 2 rooms already in this hotel but he's not sure why breakfast is not included. I got disappointed in that part, to be honest. Anyway, the hotel has a cafe and restaurant in the lobby area and you can also pay for a breakfast buffet if you want.

And from that, I learned that you need to make sure that breakfast is included in your choice of hotel for less inconvenient in your part because it's really hard to find a place to eat early in the morning especially if you're really a picky eater just like us.

My siblings who love listening to music really enjoyed this Multi Adapter (Multi Outlet/adaptor, USB charging, HDMI) thing in our room. They all want to get one for themselves because it's a really nice gadget.

And as for me, as usual, I enjoyed the bathroom. The automatic bidet thing toilet is love! Though it's nothing compared to the amenities in the hotel in Japan, I still give an A for having that toilet and a large bathtub.

We may not fully experience the services and amenities the hotel has to offer we still enjoy our stay in our guestroom and how the front office staff is very accommodating and helpful toward their guests. I, myself is very satisfied with our guestroom.

And thinking about it, I'm now regretting why I didn't make time stay in the hotel to try their facilities. Anyway, there is always a next time!
